Must Have Monday: Product Junkie
At least once or twice a year I share my discoveries of new favorite products that I believe are worth sharing with you all on my blog. I think it’s a healthy {and fun} remedy to go visit your favorite cosmetics store and have a splurge-fest at least once every few months, which is what I did last week when I visited my favorite local cosmetic and bath store, Pout Boutique {located at 2738 Devine Street in Columbia, SC}. Because I have more knowledge in the fashion department, I love to ask a million questions about different beauty products every time I go in for a visit. The great thing about makeup is that there are so many options to choose from, whether it be what brand you’re going to get or what color blush/lipstick/foundation is right for you. Plus, you feel like a pretty princess getting to cake your face up for trial and error of all the new and fun things that the cosmetic world has come out with.
Below is a collage of my MUST HAVE products of the moment. They’ve worked miracles for me and may be winners for you too! Check it out:

Chantecaille’s Gel Radiance Bronzer is the sleekest bronzer that you can apply with just a few dabs on your fingertips. It has anti-aging ingredients and gives your skin a beautiful beach glow when applied on. This is my bronzer for when I want to look extra fancy for a Saturday night out with friends or to a major fine-dining event.

Chantecaille’s Les Pétales De Rose Powder highlights and illuminates your face for an understated shine, and can be used to contour your face prior to applying bronzer. For a product that looks so pretty, it makes you look even more gorgeous with it’s hints of luminous pigments, inspired by crushed rose petals.

Chantecaille’s Poudre de Perle blush comes with an attachable cheek brush and refillable blush powder compact. With just a nudge, the blush comes up through the tips of the bristles and allows you to apply the blush evenly and smoothly. The rich petal color gives you a great amount of color and shimmer, glistening from every angle. Truly, the perfect spring and summertime cheek color.

Tarte’s Maracuja Oil is my true miracle-working product. If you have sensitive skin and reoccurring blemishes, this oil will become your saving grace. After several years of having breakouts, I finally found this earth prescribed treatment oil with high doses of vitamin c. It replenished and rebuilds to your most comfortable skin.

Tarte’s Maracuja Miracle Foundation gives full coverage and lasts for more than 12 hours and contains SPF 15 for full facial protection. With my skin, I don’t have to apply foundation daily but when I do, my face almost seems to be porcelain-like because of how smooth this foundation is.

Stila’s In The Moment eye shadow palette contains their best selling shadow colors with different shades of purple combined with mixed neutrals, along with a brown smudge stick eyeliner. It compliments my olive skin tone and dark hair fabulously.

Stila’s In The Light eye shadow palette is one of my favorite neutral toned palettes out there because it is understated but makes a brilliant stand out when applied to the lid. It’s the perfect palette for any skin tone that you can wear subtly or vamp it up for something extra special.

Too Faced’s Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder is a new favorite for me. I never really understood how to apply bronzer on my face but then realized that the importance of bronzer is the amount you can swiftly brush on to your face with one application. It’s matte finish gives the perfect amount and plus, it’s scented chocolate, so that hit the jackpot for me.
narscosmetics.com
NARS Funny Face semi-matte lipstick is my go-to lip color if I’m feeling flushed and want my lips to make a statement. It’s not too bright, nor too dark and is fun paired back to just a simple black and white outfit… Like one of my most recent outfit posts. My top favorite lip color at the moment!

Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara is my absolute obsession all thanks to my sister Dania for introducing it to me {see her post here}. For the longest, I have been trying to find that perfect mascara.. You see, I am a mascara junkie and would say it is the most important part of my personal makeup routine. The more coats, the better, and the longer they look, the happier I am. This mascara gives me volume + length and truly makes me believe that my lashes, ARE REAL!

Dior’s DiorShow Waterproof Mascara in the color Azure Blue is the ultimate mascara if you want to catch someone’s eye (literally!) The cobalt blue color stands out and is seen from any angle adding some excitement to your eyes. It doesn’t clump, nor wear down, and I always have people admiring my eyes when I apply it on.

Stila’s Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm is an absolute must for you if you want to have an extraordinary looking face for a special event. When using it, it must be the very first thing you put on your face, even before foundation. Once you have added the rest of your makeup (bronzer, highlighter, blush, etc) you’ll notice an unbelievable glowing undertone to your face. It contains SPF 30 making your skin look lit from within.

Stila’s Magnificent Metals Eyeliner is a brand new product for the fun showgirl in all of us. If you want to make your eyes look like they’re having a party, this is the eyeliner you need. Called “pure rock and roll in a pot”, it gives your eyes the glam and sparkle that you’ve always dreamed of having, and was inspired by Stila’s runway beauty at New York Fashion Week. It comes in several different colors and comes with a thick liquid gel that you first place your eye liner brush in, then dab a bit of the foil on for long-lasting wear.

Oribe’s Shampoo for Magnificent Volume is the shampoo that I have always waited for. This line in general has been a savior to my dark brown hair. Due to my newly short hair cut, I have lost the volume I once had with long hair and I don’t like the way my hair looks when I flat iron it. This shampoo contains botanical extracts which leaves hair to be strong, lush and voluminous. (and it smells AMAZING).
barneys.com
Oribe’s Conditioner for Magnificent Volume is just the next step after applying the shampoo. Using these two products, you will get the maximum volume to your hair. The conditioner is a gel-cream moisturizer that leaves hair easy to brush and style however you please.
Lastly, Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray is hands down the BEST dry shampoo I have ever owned, and all my friends have to agree. I typically do not wash my hair every day, so dry shampoo is essential to my lifestyle. This award-winning dry shampoo is easy to apply: all you have to do is spray on to oily roots and other areas, leave in for a few minutes, then brush it out. Your hair looks newly washed and ready to go leaving absolutely no residue. It is very much a MUST HAVE or DIE product!
