Rebecca Taylor Fall 2014 Collection Recap

Happy Friday Fashionistas!
After going back and forth to New York City the last couple of weeks I’ve finally settled down back in Columbia for a semi-normal life again. A few weeks ago I went back to NYC to finish market appointments and got to see the rest of some of my favorite designer collections for Fall. One of those collections was Rebecca Taylor’s Fall 2014 collection, and I must say, it was impressive.
In honor of my attendance to the Rebecca Taylor NYFW Ready-to-Wear Runway show
during NYFW & my market appointment I attended a week after, it was only right to review the collection on the blog today. It was so awesome to get a front row seat watching the looks go down the runway, but I always love going to the appointment to touch and feel the actual collection in person.
Models walked down the runway with beautifully almost blown-out looking straight hair and pops of lip colors like orange and red. To me, the straight hair was really in-sync with the collection and was a smart move by the style team. Straight hair is something you see on a day-to-day basis on most girls and season after season, Rebecca Taylor designs pieces that can be worn by any girl on any day and can translate looks from day to night. Also, the really muted hair really brought out the prints and colors, making everyone focus on the close rather than ‘dos & caked faces (which RT’s models had neither of).
I am so blessed that I got to see this collection two different ways, & I’m ecstatic for the collection to hit stores come July & August! For those of you who didn’t get to check out the collection,
here are some of my favorite looks that went down the runway:
