Rent the Runway

Happy Hump day everyone!
This week is flying by and I’m so thrilled about it. 
Why you ask?
Well, this weekend is my sorority’s FORMAL party!!! 
and I can’t believe it’s my last one. 
It is such a bittersweet feeling. I remember going to formal my sophomore year of college, it feels like just yesterday! But I cannot wait for Saturday’s festivities and all the memories we’ll make at my last formal!

This week I’m going all out for my preparation for formal… Monday I got my nails done, today (Wednesday) I’ll be getting my spray tan, Thursday I’ll be getting a pedicure, and Saturday I’ll be getting my hair and makeup done, all with my best friend and Little! We love to go all out for these kind of events, just like every fashionable girl does 😉 
Today I’ll be getting my dress in the mail and I cannot wait to try it! 
BUT I didn’t just buy and order one online… 
I decided to Rent the Runway for this event!
How did I decide on renting a dress you ask?
Well, I didn’t have many long formal dresses in stock inside my closet, and the only one I did have was the one I wore to formal two years ago… So I thought, what better time to rent a dress than for my formal SENIOR year?! I also have this fear of seeing a sista’ wearing the same dress as me, and I knew if I rented the runway, I easily wouldn’t have such a problem.

  6. I love your dress- and RTR is such a brilliant concept.

    I remember the beauty work it takes to prep for a dance/formal… And it doesn't go away, doll! Soon you'll be beauty-prepping for your friends' WEDDINGS! (This is currently me, haha.)
