South Beach Bash

A special surprise came in the mail about a week and a half ago.
I was watching TV when I heard a loud knock on the door.  When I got up to see if I had an unexpected visitor, a large cardboard package was resting on the door step.  I needed a minute to remember if I had ordered something in the mail, but there was no return address on the package.  As I started opening it up, I found this.

And that was the beginning of a surprise bachelorette weekend that my best friends, sister, and parents had planned for me.  In the midst of all things crazy going on since 2015 began, I started to prep for a weekend with the girls to one of my favorite places– South Beach, Miami. 

And while the palm trees, food, nightlife, beach, stone crab, sand, and weather were breathtakingly beautiful, nothing compared to the amount of time I got to spend with each one of my best friends.  It was the first time since I had gotten engaged that I realized such a drastic change was happening in my life.  While we celebrated my new chapter, it was extremely comforting to know that they were all writing it with me. Each of these girls I’ve known for such long periods of time, but something about this trip gave us a bond closer than I have ever experienced with each of them separately.  I love you all dearly.
