Thoughts on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a little different this year. We had a (very handsome) addition to our annual dinner. It’s been very fun integrating our families, but it’s also been overwhelming as well. Trips back and forth between 3 cities is not our cup of tea, but it makes for good stories in the future.  Thanksgiving this year was spent at my grandmother’s house with family, family friends, six hookahs, and home made everything.  Three days prior to the day I was busy prepping for a feast that could have fed 30 people. Two baked turkeys and two fried turkeys, but that’s exactly how Arabs do everything. Go big or go home, right?
