Zuhair Murad S/S’13 Haute Couture Review

This is another review of a second Lebanese couturier that I am absolutely in love with. I have to be quite honest – I am in love with designers like Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab, and Basil Soda because they are of Middle Eastern decent, and you can see it in most of their collections. In the Middle East, gowns are very elaborate and often have a little hint of culture sewn into it. Their designs are always over the top and eye catching; never a dull piece in any of their collections. A white or cream color is essential color in the Middle East because it defines purity, and gold is a popular color because of the architecture and pottery in Middle Eastern countries. I love that they think of culture when designing their pieces!
Here are some of my favorite pieces from Zuhair Murad’s S/S’13 Haute Couture show:

I can see some of these jaw dropping gowns on notable women like Queen Rania of Jordan, or even on any American celebrities. Either way – we know that Zuhair Murad is here to stay… and dominate in the fashion world.
