CHICKEN PICCATA

March 21, 2012
I love Italian cuisine.  When our family decides to go out to eat- Italian is one of our top choices in restaurants.  My sister always orders either chicken piccata or chicken marsala, and since mediterranean food has more of a lemon garlic base, I decided to attempt the chicken piccata.  I was fluctuating between Giada DeLaurentiis’ recipe and Ina Garten’s- but because Ina’s recipe included breading the chicken, I chose hers {here}. As always, I alter recipes to fit the expectations of our distinct Middle Eastern taste in flavors, so I added lots of garlic and extra lemon to the sauce. The result was absolutely delicious, and so simple.  Everything was done in 15-20 minutes! Bon appetit!
