LAST MINUTE HOLIDAY GOODY BAGS

Last minute goody bags for the holidays!

I’m not going to lie, I was extremely behind in getting gifts this holiday season. Buying presents can be overwhelming, stressful and most importantly expensive. I had a whirlwind of a week at work, all the while preparing for a trip. So I knew I was pushing my limit by not prioritizing gifts for co-workers in advance.

Which brings me to share: GOODY BAGS make the perfect last-minute gift item, without the hefty price tag. I went to the store, bought all of the items, and prepared seven in one day… to give them out the very next. It was extremely easy to put together and took little to no effort to construct. The key to successful goody bags is to buy gift sets that consist of 7 to 10 items in each. I resorted to Target because I’m familiar with it being a mecca of eclectic products, and knew I would have major success.

What I chose? A nail polish set of 10 for just $10, a bath bomb set that was 10 for $7, and face masks that were just over a dollar each. I found the perfect DIY goody bags to put everything in and sprinkled holiday candy in each, too. So in total, crafting these goody bags put me right at $40, and for just 7 people! It’s a cost-friendly way to still show a mentor, peer, or colleague a small way of appreciation.
