Coachella Style ’14

Coachella Weekend 1 is over. How do we know? Well, Instagram is up and running again, and all of our favorite fashion bloggers and celebrities have been posting about how sad they are that the weekend is over. Reading about how sad they are that the first weekend is gone is making me sad. I loved scrolling through all of my social media sites every hour just to check out the fashions. The festival is a fantastic excuse to whip out all of your favorite trends whether it be tacky or chic. Those trends could be mirrored sunglasses, flower crowns, crop tops, and fringe kimonos. The overall feel of the festival is to let your soul fly free with the power of art, music, and fashion.
Thankfully, websites like Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, & others kept me up-to-date with what everyone was wearing. And thankfully, weekend 2 will start in just a few short days.
Here are my favorites from the selection they gave us:

I also like to think that the styles of Coachella is just a preview of what the up coming Summer fashions will look like. You can really take looks like these into the summertime when you go on that fabulous trip to Rome, or even if you go to the Dirty Myrtle (myrtle beach, south carolina). So if you’re looking for your very own care-free, hippie summer wardrobe, I compiled some easy outfits that you can put together, with essential pieces that we’ve seen at Coachella.
